About Teaching with Technology

The Faculty Center and IRT Training & Instructional Support are pleased to announce our Teaching with Technology series, formerly known as Academic Technology Week.  These sessions will be led by faculty, IRT learning technology specialists, the faculty center staff and others. This series will continue throughout the year with monthly sessions focusing on how technology is being used to enhance teaching and learning.

Please join us on Tuesday, May 22nd for the first session. We will kick off the series with an interactive discussion from faculty about how they effectively use Blackboard.  Our Rowan faculty have great ideas on how to integrate interactive tools in Blackboard including media, Collaborate, discussions, grade center and more. This will be followed by hands-on workshops to help you learn how to use the tools, clean up your Blackboard courses from the spring and plan how to design your courses for the summer and fall semesters. Seating is limited so register soon!

Spring Cleanup and Planning for a New Academic Year will be held in
